This Privacy Policy describes how Pirtec handles personal data.
When using our products and services, our customers and users can leave personal data for us as representatives of a company. We are personal data managers for your personal data and their processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
What information do we process?
We collect personal information, such as name, surname, company name, professional title, e-mail address and telephone number when you contact us or otherwise submit your personal information to us. All personal data is handled with confidentiality and is used solely for Pirtec's purposes under the GDPR Act.
Purpose of processing personal data
Personal data for customers and potential customers is stored for the following purposes: Administration of sales of our products and services, marketing and preparation of quotation proposals.
Legal basis
According to current data protection regulations, there must be legal support, a so-called legal basis, in order for our processing of your information to be legal and necessary. Below are the legal bases we use.
- Execution of agreements.
We only process necessary information to identify you about the customer or user to handle and deliver orders in accordance with your agreement.
- legal obligation
We process your information in order to fulfill our statutory obligations, e.g. your billing information according to the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (Bokföringslagen).
- Balance of interests
We process your data to develop our services, processes and to market our products and services directly to you.
- Consent
In some cases, you can subscribe to our newsletters and subscriptions through our website marketing material, or through web forms submit your inquiry to our products and services, or in other circumstances, authorize us to process your information. You agree that we will only process your information for the stated purpose.
Storage time for personal data
Your information is stored as long as you have a contractual relationship or business relationship with us and as long as it is necessary for the purpose of the treatment. Upon completion of the relationship we save your data for up to 3 years. In cases where there is a legal requirement to save data for a longer time we follow such laws.
We save data that is used for invoicing for seven years according to the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (Bokföringslagen).
Right to information about the processing of personal data
You have the right to see how your personal data is processed. You have the right to know what information we have about you. You can also request an extract from our register, and request that the information be corrected or removed. You can request to have personal data transferred from our system to another actor, called data portability. A request for any of the above can be sent to gdpr@pirtec2.se.
Right to object
If we carry out a balance of interest, you have the right to object to the treatment of your information. You then have to specify what treatment you object to. If we after evaluation believes that such usage should nevertheless occur, we must show that our interest in the usage weighs heavier.
Right to complain
If you believe that the processing of your data is in violation of the applicable regulations, you have the right to submit a complaint to us as soon as possible.
Withdrawal of consent
You also have the right at any time to withdraw a consent for the processing of personal data.
